Steering & Camber links are go. And dang! those tires dwarf that Slash chassis! Good clearance on them too.

Threw some 'pede tires on the Backslash for now. Pretty sure those tires will end up replacing the Clod tires once the younger brother realizes how much faster big brother's Backslash is. Currently he's just concerned with being able to run over said Backslash.

C'mon Szac, we can't wait when it's done!
BTW, those green A-arms are sweet.
You can bash it!
You can smash it!
But you can't destroy it!

those bodies are absolutely stunning man, great work, i've gotta ask though, what type of liquid mask did you use? My first and only experience was with parma liquid mask... and it was awful lol :P

you'll have to let us know how that beast of a slash drives!
... and you know which one i'm referring to!

Thanks man, much appreciated. I use Bob Dively's Liquid Mask. My workflow is like this:
  1. Trim bodies with the X-acto method
  2. Spray on Bob Dively's liquid mask(second half of above video) with $15 Harbor Freight Spray Gun
  3. Use Sk3tch's workflow example to apply art, cut masks, and airbrush bodies

First run of the Monster Truck. Even with the slipper cranked all the way there was a ton of slippage.

(watch this on YouTube for more options)

Hacked up the side nerf bars for the rear body mount extensions

Down to paint and electronics for the Backslash.

Then it's on to the spec racers...
